When things go well, and everything falls into place, you stay on the treadmill and go through your days with no thought about where and what you are.  You just get on with things.  However, it is when things do not go your way, and you experience difficulty and struggles, and you are looking for answers, you start on a journey of self-discovery, and you try to find solutions to your problems.  That is where personal growth starts and where you get to know yourself.  You take stock of your bad habits because you are looking for the reason why you are sick, financially stretched and just not happy.

You have to change something to change your experience

When you make the decision to change your ways, it usually is the result of hardship or frustration.  Even the most unaware of the human race, realize at some point in their lives that you have to change something to change your experience.  Therefore, it is not in your interest to blame and find excuses.  We must all realize we create our own reality.  There is a law called “whatever you resist, will persist.”

This is s biggie for some people to accept.  Everyone feels they are trying hard and they have all the best intentions, but they do not realize that we all have self-sabotaging habits.  It comes from generations back as well as self-learned shortcuts for instant gratification for us to feel better immediately.

It is also in our hour of need and fear of the outcome that we reach towards our Spiritual connections.  First, we fall back on what is familiar, and we go back to the church or belief system of our childhood, or if that has never spoken to you, you go on a journey searching for answers in different religions.

It is also in our hour of need and fear of the outcome that we reach towards our Spiritual connections.

The fact of the matter is that our spiritual connection is the only way to find inner peace.  It is the one thing that brings hope, and our subconscious mind latches onto that connection and gives us a feeling of hope and peace.  You will never find Inner Peace if you do not have some form of spiritual connection.  Nature, God, Buddha, Mohammed, Krishna, the Sun, your Ancestors or what it is that you connect with.

When you take the time to observe what is around you, and you stop in your tracks, shut off the chatter in your head, and just observe and appreciate, you connect to Spirit.

If we look at the way the universe function, we can see it is a scientific process, but in fact, it is a system of checks and balances.  The moon controls the tides with magnetic forces, and what goes up must come down.  There is a constant flow of energy.  If we recognize that we are all made up of energy, then we will understand that what we radiate, we will attract.  If we generate love, we will attract love in our lives, if we generate hate, we will attract more hatred in our lives, and so forth.  It is so important to make it a daily practice to connect to your Spirit.  When we are disconnected from our Spirit, the ego takes control, and the ego governs with fear.  Fear of failure and the consequent ridicule and looking stupid, fear of not being loved and therefore giving away love to get that love back, fear of loss and holding on too strongly to loved ones and then they feel stifled and leave.  When we recognize that love is the only way and the only way to connect to love is to connect to your Spirit.  To connect with your Spirit, you can start with an appreciation for everything in your life that you are grateful for and don’t want to lose or give up.  The best form of appreciation is that of Nature and everything that has been created by a force bigger than us.  Everything in its purest form.  Flowers, the ocean, mountains, trees, rivers, and beauty everywhere.

You can change your frequency by changing your vibration to appreciation for what is NOW.

When you take the time to observe what is around you, and you stop in your tracks, shut off the chatter in your head, and just observe and appreciate, you connect to Spirit.  Then some things are unique to you and your experiences.  This can be man-made or only specific to you.  A good cup of coffee or tea, made with loving care by someone for you, or just the way you make it yourself.  There can be magic at that moment when you realize after you take that first taste and feel AHHHH this is good.  At that moment, take your foot off the pedal and savor the moment and feel the appreciation run through your body.   When you do that, you immediately lift your vibration and change your path for the rest of the day, because you are also part of nature and in changing your vibration, you change your outcome.

The next step is to accept about fear is that you usually fear something that has not happened yet. You are afraid of the outcome.  Most the time, you can stop yourself fixating on the fearful thoughts.  You can change your frequency by changing your vibration to appreciation for what is NOW.  Like changing the station on the radio.  Notice the beauty in your surroundings and say to yourself, there is nothing I can do about it now.  I can only ask for the best outcome and trust that things will work out.  It will if you trust completely, and not try to interfere to force things because you want to control how it pans out.  If you look back at your life, you will see that things always worked out for the best.  Even if you experienced accidents and hardship, that resulted in your growth in changing things to become stronger, and there was spiritual growth.  Sometimes we discover how strong and resilient we really are when we look back at times of hardship and see how we recovered and changed for the better.

Do this exercise if you are feeling anxious and stressed and cannot see your way forward.

Sit in a quiet space (preferably in a garden) but if you cannot, go to “your space” in your home.  Just sit still and focus on your breath and quiet your mind.  Trust that you can handle the outcome whatever it may be.  Now just imagine that you are part of everything around you.  The air, the trees, and the universe.  You are created as a living breathing creature on this planet earth.  You are one of many, and you are the same.  You are perfect and beautiful.  Sit for a moment and contemplate on that.  Now feel love for yourself and then everything around you.  Just feel how the love emanates from your heart.  Feel it and let it grow bigger and bigger.  Then feel how the love of your God fills up your whole being.  Imagine a golden liquid light of love and healing flows from a source above you and enters your body from the top of your head and fills up every single cell and neuron in your body.  Feel and experience the healing and loving enters and fills you up.  You are Loved and accepted, and you are part of a bigger whole.

This will reset your feeling of fear and anxiety.  You can go about your day and see how things fall into place. May you be blessed.
