Spirit Mind and Body. That is who we are. When we acknowledge that our thoughts, beliefs and circumstances and the agenda of our Souls all affect our physical and mental health dramatically, we start to see the power of each of the puzzle pieces that is the sum of our experience. To fully understand the relationship between body, mind, and spirit is to see that there is actually no separation between these parts. They all influence one another, and to focus on improving one brings better health and well-being to the others. We must look at all of them together and bring each of these up to its highest state in order to live a full, healthy happy life.

Our connection to the Divine is very important for our survival. Our ego is controlling the show and when the ego is in the driving seat, the connection to the Divine gets lost. Make a decision to reconnect if you lost your spiritual roots in the process of surviving life. From birth, we are told that we cannot communicate directly with God. However just as it states in the Bible, we are made in the image of God, there is a direct connection with God inside of us and we just need to tap into it to feel the presence of God.

The church interprets the Bible to tell us that we are sinners and not worthy. But if only love is real, and we accept that we are all connected with this band of love, then we are glorious creatures capable of loving and making a difference in the world. I read today that it was an ancient custom in some indigenous cultures that if a person commits a crime or do something wrong, the whole village comes together and speak of all the good the person has done. I can just imagine, how this must feel for the guilty person. If he has lost his path and has developed a self-destructive habit in committing crimes, then this will reset him to remember who he really is and to feel accepted and then it would be natural not to go down that path again.

The first step to acceptance is to start with self-acceptance. If we accept ourselves with all our flaws and greatness as parts of the whole, then the journey starts. Everything and everyone has a light and a dark side. Once we take the time to shine the light on our own shadow, and really analyze and accept it for what it is, the load we carry becomes lighter. Light cannot exist without darkness. Then at the same time, we can acknowledge our greatness. Self-acceptance is important for healing the hurt that we inflict upon ourselves. Constant criticism in the form of negative self-talk put such a burden on ourselves. Stop that by changing your inner voice. Numerous experiments with water and plants have proven that speaking complements and love to the elements create beauty and growth. Why don’t we do it to ourselves? If you change your inner voice to complementary and loving, you build yourself up and you would not need to get your validation from external sources.

By loving yourself in all your glory, mind, body and spirit, you open yourself to better life experience and that also enables you to see others the same as you. Everybody walks with past hurts and disappointments and do not know how to love themselves, let alone love others equally. This becomes the most divine path we can walk, unconditional love for ourselves and others. This does not mean you must condone wrongdoing and crimes, but you can open your eyes and have a small way of understanding for the human being that is so hurt and damaged that he or she has to inflict pain and suffering on others to feel better.
Start today, by tempering your inner voice from hypercritical to kind and loving. Take stock of your strength and beauty and accept the shadow. That way the shadow has less power because by shining the light on it, it loses its power because suddenly it is not so dark anymore. You can start changing the shadow by changing the things you have control over. One small step and victory at a time and before you know it, life is so much better and worth living. Go on my fellow beings, experience lightness and love every step of the way by softening your heart to let in the love. The Divine love that we all have inside of us. It is our birthright and it makes us authentic beings that are part of the Universe in all its glory. Accept is today and feel the weight lifting off your shoulders
